My third patient:::Clinical teaching 3

Assalamualaykum~
hye, i wanna share with you all about one case during Genitourinary block,whereby i used to clerk a patient. A paediatric patient.  A girl who was diagnosed to have Acute glomerulonephritis..

So, yeah, what is that? in malay, it is called "Glomerulonefritis Akut". (haha penat google apa dia lahh makna dalam bahasa melayu!!)

in simple word for our understanding, Acute glomerulonephritis is a group of disorders that cause swelling or inflammation of the internal kidney structures (specifically, the glomeruli(plural),glomerulus(singular)). for an example, Nephritic syndrome is a type of glomerulonephritis.

this diagram shows how's the internal structure of a kidney in organization.

The severity and extent of glomerular damage—focal (confined) or diffuse (widespread)—determines how the disease is manifested.
Glomerular damage can appear as subacute renal failure, progressive chronic renal failure (CRF);
 or simply a urinary abnormality such as hematuria (blood in the urine) or proteinuria (excess protein in the urine).

 

So, how to know the symptoms??

Common symptoms of nephritic syndrome are:

• Swelling of the face, eye socket, legs, arms, hands, feet, abdomen, or other areas . (bengkak-bengkak)
• Blood in the urine (urine appears dark, tea colored, or cloudy)(Kencing berdarah)
• Decreased urine volume (little or no urine may be produced) (Air kencing yang dibuang adalah dalam kuantiti sedikit daripada biasa)

Other symptoms that may occur include:

• Blurred vision                                   (pandangan kabur-kabur)
• General aches and pains (joint pain, muscle aches) ( rasa sakitdibahagian sendi-sendi dan otot)
• General ill feeling (malaise)                  (rasa tak bermaya,dan kurang aktif daripada kebiasaan)
• Headache (sakits kepala..!!)
• Slow, sluggish, lethargic movement       ( nak gerakkan badan pun tak larat,kalah orang berumur)
• Cough containing mucus or pink, frothy material    (Batuk ada kahak,atau buih-buih berwarna pink)
• Decreased alertness, drowsiness, confusion           (pening-pening sampai tak dapat fokus)
• Patients may develop symptoms of acute kidney failure or end-stage kidney disease.

orait, if you are suspecting you have those symptoms(especially in children,very common), go quickly to have your treatment, because the aim for this treatment is to reduce the inflammation at the affected area.
apa nak di nasihatkan adalah  sebelum ginjal anda pergi tak kembali, silalah lakukan test or invetigation at the legal clinics or hospital,  nearest you~

Yeah! akhirnya meng'update' jugak entri baru..maaflah perasaan mahu ber'blogging'' sudah terluput lah sekarang ni.cheewah.(bajet cam best jah)

bait-bait lagu yang tak mungkin Aena lupa sampai bila-bila..ini introduction masa kitorang jumpa Desa Tekun untuk penentuan tempat ke-3/4.

Tapi alhamdulillah walaupun kitorang dapat tempat ke 4, tapi memang puas lah,and syukur sangat-sangat sebab tak sangka, first team of first trial of first new buds contestant. PEndek kata dapat masuk suku akhir pun sudah jadi satu loteri untuk kitorang.

yeah! memang best lah masuk Pesta Pantun Antara Desasiswa USm. kat Usm induk.heheh

Fateen yang tak putus-putus bagi semangat..thanks sebab tlg jaga beg ku.hehe..

kelihatan tidak sabar-sabar mahu menanti keputusan hakim.

i guess this is when we met Cahaya Gemilang..saat paling bess bertemu dengan pemantun semua lelaki and kelakar2 habes. ahaha

sampai sekarang still boleh gelak ingat pembayang-pembayang pantun diorang n kitorang masa match suku akhir.

haa..ne sempat buat muka pelik sebelum berpantun. benar-benar berkesan you..hahaha

sempat ooh tengok the camera??? aiyooo!!!

memang baguslah pabila ada sorang peserta Fajar harapan buat isyarat suruh Aena senyum.hahah.

very supportive! tak dengki2..

mereka dari SAujana. kitorang bertemu masa Separuh akhir..

walaupun kitorang tewas tapi memang puas aah Pantun beli kitorang kasik jawapan.ahahaha.

paling ku berbangga rasanya.

yang besst when pemantun ke3 dia tanya masa tema 'kesihatan', mengapa penularan H1N1 masih ada?

dengan selamba aku menjawab : "tidakkah saudari peka inderanya,vaksin dicipta setahun yang lalu"

nasib sempat reka..huh!!

bersama gadis-gadis Tekun. Kitorang jumpa diorang 3 kali ohh .. memang rapat terus lah silaturrahim..ahahahah

siap gelak-gelak lagi..memang sporting abes lah..

akhirnya tamat jua lah perjuangan kitorng selama 6 perlawanan..

tak sangka direct, aena masuk suma.haha. ingat nak ganti ngan member lain, tapi ntah lama-lama rasa masyuk aah bila lawan..haha

ohh ini Ahmad Fetri yahya jadi juri gaya kitorang..wahhhh... sangat gentar...

dengan Abg Koko..

beliau sangat comeyl rupanya kawan-kawan.haha

"Mari kita...berdondang sayang..."ok hati sangat lega. berbaloi lah tido lewat slalu prepare pantun ngan kengkawan..

yang tengah ni, Jurupantun dari Usm induk..haha memang feveret kitorang. intonasinya sangat best bila pengerusikn pantun.

Dalam Dewan Budaya ini..ku bertemu dengan teman lama..

hehehe..

opps terlebih sudaaahh!!!! banyak ke pic kaali neh??

mana ade kan..

lagi baanyak ada dalam hard disk neh.eheh

padaku, itu suma sebuah pengalaman yang tercipta dalam kesungguhan dalam memenuhi segala tindakan yng kmi mmpu lakukan..

ok, this new born 'baby' is not fetus-human baby lahh..
its new lappy. kena jaga baik-baik neh. dah muflis da aena...
1st time kot shopping sehari habis ribu-ribu pitis,..aduih laa...
k, forget about it..

dah malas lah nak taip banyak-banyak. but, really wanna share what events i've attended,for the past 3 weeks.hohoho.
